The College Library WisCEL Center consists of two main classrooms, two smaller multi-use rooms, an instructor office and a student lounge area located on the third floor of College Library.
College Library WisCEL Center Classroom Features:
Room 3250 (Capacity 110). Room 3250 is equipped with 19 round tables that seat six students and have 17-inch laptops for each student and a dedicated big-screen monitor for each table. There are two instructor stations (one at each end of the room) each equipped with instructor computers, Smart computer capability, projection to 2 main screens and 19 table monitors, document camera, full room audio, and fixed/mobile whiteboards.
WisCEL provides a combination of lavaliere microphones and handheld microphones for use in 3250. We currently have one handheld microphone that can be used as a passable audience microphone or by an instructor/speaker. WisCEL has Shure transmitter packs that can be used with our lavalier microphones or instructor-provided Shure PGA31 headset microphones that were distributed to instructors by certain departments. All microphone transmitters are battery powered, with replacement batteries available at the service desk.
Note: Campus-provided personal speaker and microphone setups that do not integrate into the WisCEL AV system are not encouraged for use in the WisCEL spaces. Our overhead speakers will be picked up by the personal microphone and will cause feedback.
